I had an Entech Number Cruncher and need to replace it (no longer works). How much do I need to spend to get the same quality? How much do I need to spend to get "WOW THIS IS MUCH BETTER" quality?
I know it's subject, but based on your personal experience, give me a ballpark price and possible candidates.
I'm using optical out from my mobo, flac and vbr mp3s, to a dynalo+hd580 (is this still considered hifi?) or my pioneer elite + Monitor Audio RS1 Bookshelf Speakers.
