Wrong

SuperMacro-3 measures 3.2 x 2.1 x 0.9 inches (roughly 6 inches cubed in volume)
PocketAmp2 V2 measures 2.6 x 2.6 x 1.1 inches (roughly 7.4 inches cubed in volume)

Is this topic same as discussing a Toyota and Ferrari...

They are at different end product, the major diff is your wallet

Here's what I would do.....wait till you get your e500 and if you don't like them, then get the PA2V2, if you like that combo then forget all about the sm3v6, if you don't like that combo then return your PA2V2 and get the sm3v6. You really need to hear the e500 before you look for an amp, you might just really like them unamped. If you don't want to wait that long, then PM someone who has already heard the e500 and ask them. There is no point to buy the amp before you get the headphones. I hope all of that made sense.

You probaly can, considering the kind of guy Gary is. But, you would have to email him to be sure.

To person with a bank account balance of $10,000,000 the Ferrari is by all means worth it.
If your bank account balance is $10,000 then maybe you should consider the Toyota.

Remember the quote from Ferris Bueller's day off? "It's so choice. If you have the means..."

If you stand in the middle somewhere then you have to decide if it is worth it. If you are really aiming to stay within a certain budget then get the PA2V2, if you are not trying to stick with a budget, then the SM3v6 will be worth it.

well, to be frank with you, i really know nothing about amps

, all my sources come from the reviews and forum. since there're so many good things being said about xin's products, think i might take a try. btw, the sm3's price is 299 now, which sounds better for me.

the price difference between the two amps isn't THAT HUGE comparing to it of the two cars.
