As far as I know, the only comments about Nova series compared to the latest are from edstrelow in this thread found at headwize:

Thanks for the reference. I would say the newer sets are about 10-20% better than the older ones, if that means anything. However, if you are a fanatic about sound that's a lot of improvement.
