The speakers I am using are called the Logitech Z-Cinema Advanced Surround Sound System. What I want to know is how many volts these speakers are. I was told that if the voltage in my outlets were too high, that I might blow my speakers.

Here are the specs:

On a section of the back of the subwoofer, it says "120V~6Hz only"

And blow that somewhere it says "100V-230V~50-60Hz" and blow that it says "1A."

Can somebody tell me what all this means? How many volts is my speakers total?

can you post a pic of the backside of the sub? And telling me in which country you live will tell me a lot.

I think he means it has universal voltage but is currently set for 120v.

Seriously where do you like so I can tell you what voltage you need?

My KRK RP5 monitors were set to the correct voltage while the sub RP10s wasn't. Bought them in the same store. Luckily I always check the components if they are set to the correct voltage before powering them on.

If you live in the US, you have ~120v 60hz power, which is what the sub is rated for.

What about the Logitech Z-2300 speakers? Can I plug those in?

Here are the specs:

* 200 watts of RMS power (400 watts of peak power) deliver thunderous audio for music, movies, and games
* 8-inch long-throw subwoofer driver with flared bass port pounds out powerful, distortion-free bass
* Polished aluminum phase plug at the center of the driver outperforms conventional 2-way designs
* Included adapter lets you connect the speakers directly to your DVD player, CD player, or video game console
