About 10 that I can think of. 2-3 of them are in pieces.

Sextett, XB500, and HD-668B have all their cables chopped off and drivers missing. One day I may reassemble them.

To the people with multiple headphones: How does that work? Do you simply swap out headphones based on what your current musical muse is?

Legitimate question; I'm not sure how this is done.

Headphones are like clothings. For example, today you wear your black jeans, but tomorrow you want to wear a dark blue pair. Next week is sunny and you might be inclined to wear shorts.
I use my most comfortable pair for watching movies (Grado GS1000i or Rudistor Chroma MD1). When the house is too noisy I switch to earphones (Klipsch X10i or Etymotic HF5) to block the noise out.
Also I switch headphones depending on my mood to listen to bassy music or treble music.

dt 48, k701, hd 650, hd 555, dt 150, dt 770,t50rp, dt 880, hfi 580, pro 900

Hd 650 is not my cup of tea but if you want something like it try the t50rp it has a laidback virtual sound a true clean smooth sound not overdone like the hd 650 like a veil and well it has enough bass and this is the stock t50rp.

t50rp is the headphone that gets the most use.

Heh im done with audio, i am a person who just listens and enjoys the music and accept that  as headphones don't move as much air as speakers do.

Would be nice if fostex could do a low/mid end amp and dac to match the t50rp in perfect harmony prehaps at a cost of about £500-1000.

I'll admit to owning seven, but I've got a couple of broken pairs of el cheapos and what seems like a drawer full of those awful white Apple buds.  I give 'em away as gag gifts.

Well, I've owned around 4 or 5. But since I kinda abuse my headphones, I only have 3 that are still working. ... I know, I need to be more careful with my stuff ...

I have seven pairs .....but nothing too expensive.

I use one or two pairs mainly for my computer rig while a few never leave the home rig.

The AD700 always stay with my home rig along with the A700 while my HTF600 move back and forth since the long cord allows me to lay in bed and listen.

Lately though I've been using iem's with the computer rig especially to listen to bass heavy music.....but it all changes with my mood.

If something doesn't sound right I find a pair that works with the music I'm listening to.

The good thing about having a bunch of imperfect headphones is you get a better understanding of sound signature preferences......but I don't believe one headphone can do everything perfect so you need at least 2 or 3 top performers to cover all types of music.
