I put them on in noisy places when I'm studying. Music can get distracting so I just have them on.

but occasionally if I forget my earplugs and don't feel like listening to music at the moment (rare) I will wear ER4P on the train just to protect my hearing.

i did so.
just keep away from noise

i did some research on my pc
and finally i found the noise is coming from my master hdd....that's toobad

i installed ubuntu and boot from that old 80gb drive,
and after i found the noise i tried to remove the ubuntu drive
but i found th xp will not start without the ubuntu boot program!
wth....

maybe i'll get a new pc and copy all the data to the new one.
and throw the old one out of the window.

When in front of my pc, which means from 1 to 3 hours a day i always hear an headset...but i never wear "listening" phones with no music playing..

I will pick up my headphones to listen to a couple songs, then get distracted with other things and leave them on for long periods of time. Plus, they keep my ears (sometimes overly) warm.

Only when I am engrossed in a homework problem and an album runs its course. I usually notice after a few minutes.

it's late at night. i'm tired. the CD ends and i haven't decided if i'm going to call it a night or put something else in. before i know it, 15-20 mins or so passes (maybe longer) and i still haven't decided, but i'm still wearing the headphones. some headphones are comfortable and you could just leave them on w/o even thinking about it.
