I was listening to Mark Gardener's These Beautiful Ghosts (not bad stuff) as background music while Head-Fiing, and just noticed that it'd stopped playing ages ago. Happens pretty often too. I'd put my headphones on, walk out and forget to turn on my iPod Touch... I've been known to wear my ER-6i, just as earplugs or to avoid social interaction...

I said no because I don't do it often, but I was rebooting my computer earlier and put them on without really realizing what I was doing. I thought it was kind of odd, actually (Which is why I remember it).

I usually come home, put headphones on and get music started, but sometimes I get distracted by a pm or something before I get the music going and I'll be sitting here browsing head-fi for an hour or more not realizing nothing is playing

Yes. I listen at low volumes especially when I'm studying so sometimes I don't notice when the music has stopped.
