How Many Headphones Do You Own?
Oct 22, 2002 at 5:46 PM Post #16 of 38
I looked in my son's room where all the crap headphones have been accumulating since he is away in Arizona. I found 6 pairs there that no one uses anymore.

I have in my office/listening room:

Ety 4s
HD600
AKG-401

In my gym bag I have a pair of KSC-50s and Porta-Pros

Oh, you are right! Hey, I told you I was to lazy to look around.

3 pairs.

KSC 35
HD580
SR80

those are more than enough for my needs...what i'm REALLY lacking is an amp. and maybe a better source. and maybe cables and IC's after that. but first i need to acquire some serious $$.

I counted the pair I have coming in the mail this week. I only have 3 quality pair, and 3 of those KSC 50/35 series, plus some others we don't talk about.

Me? Two. Total in household, counting crapophones? Joelongwood.

Oh, and Bozebuttons, I HIGHLY envy you. I've been searching for Sennheiser HE60s for quite some time...

Currently i have a pair of Grado HP-1s, SR-60s, Sennheiser HD580s, 2 pairs of Koss KSC-50s, Koss TD-80s, Koss Sportapros, an old pair of Koss LV-10s, Sony MDR-301s, MDR-828s, and 3 pairs of 888s. Also an old pair of Toshiba Earbuds and a bunch of included headphones from portables.

Of those the only ones I really listen to are the HP-1s and Sony 888s, and sometimes the KSC-50s. And if I'm home and I want someone else to listen with me I let them use my HD580s.
