How many GB do you have in your main computer? (in single computer, not network)

I have a 16.7MP digital camera. RAW files are often 25M each. I also have an HD camcorder. 10M of video can be 1G easily. I chew threw disk like it's going out of style.

I have just under 2TB in my main computer alone.

450gb:
(250 external - Backups, App/Game installer backups, Other huge files

And a 200gb internal, partitioned up into sections of media, no way near full.


Soon to be 950gb (Made with a new disk: 500gb)
or maybe 1450gb (1.45tb) (2 new disks: 500gb x2)
(Depending on the price of 500's/750's in a few months, it may be even more,

(eg 2x 750gb + my 450gb i already have)

have 150gb internally, but have 2TB in external mybooks connected to one pc, in all i have 9.5TB across the network and external drives. far too much for what i do now, used to use it.

1) I can crop 1/4 of any image and still have a remarkable printable image. I do this quite often in fact. Crop a 10MP image into quarters and you get 2.5MP. Barely enough.

2) In some of the pro settings (fashion for example), 16.7MP is barely enough. In the realm of medium format, 22MP is the entry point these days.

3) I bought the camera, not the MP. The camera just came with them.

The point is good resolution, and the ability to blow up pictures for printing.
