In My experience (sr60, sr80, HF1, RS-1), I give them ~50 hours burn-in before I even attempt to listen to them.
How long to burn in before critiquing new Grados'?

50 - 100hrs. They usually start to open up at around 40. By 100 hrs they should be settled in.

I had listened to my HF-1 for all of five minutes when a cheesy grin started to appear. After some 200 hours I hear they have mellowed out a bit, although not as much as I had anticipated. But it doesn't matter, I love my baby.
