Not happy. Not happy at all. Got my LCD-2s in January 2016 (new ovangkol version) and the original cable lasted until July. They've never moved from my computer desk.
When i spend this much money i expect things to be a bit better quality than this, my £15 sennheiser HD201s have lasted at least three times longer and they work hard, i use them going out, in bags, etc
The cable they use is that crap slightly sticky feeling rubber as well, didn't say anything at the time of purchase because my first allegedly really good pair of headphones I gave them the benefit of the doubt but my friends have had poundland earbuds last longer than this
Does anyone know of a sensibly priced cable i can replace it with? It's the 6.3mm cable.
Failing that, is the wiring diagram available? I'll make m'own starquad cables if so. The cables I make tend to last years, or even decades.
