I’m looking to upgrade from my Sennheiser Urbanite XL, and I wish to prioritize durability and portability with Bluetooth functions - that’s why my attention has focused on the V-Moda Crossfade 2 Codex since you can fold them up and they really highlight the sturdiness of their lineup. Are they as sturdy as advertised?
I also have a pair of Sennheiser HD598SE for home use and my current commuting pair is the Etymotic ER4XR. Even though those two pairs do not have the sound signature, I like them mostly equally, with the ER4XR edging out for the bass. What kind of sound can I expect? There aren’t any CF2 Codex pairs on display where I live, so I’m trying to get a better idea of how they sound.
Editing to add another question: how easily does the headband collect dust? Does the white band get dirty easily, and if so, how easy is it to clean?
