Sorry if this has been covered in one of the many nano threads, but how is the quality of the wheel in comparison to full-sized ipods? It looks like it would be the same from pictures.

I thought the cheap feel and poor responsiveness of the mini's wheel was one of it's major drawbacks. Has the nano solved this problem? How is the feel/responsiveness in comparison to the photo?

Apple is using its own designed and manufactured wheel now. To me it feels solid and robust like the 4G and iPod color models. The center button is now flat instead of convex, so the iPod can sit flat on it's front instead of pivoting on the button. I wasn't a fan of the mini click wheel either (it seemed to get soft and sink down after a while), but the big click wheel on the big iPods is nice.
