I don't have the HD555 or MS1, nore can I inform you on the propertys of either of them, but If you are interested in finding out about the Shure E4C I would suggjest using the search function and searching for "Shure E4C" you will find several large threads that have many early impressions of the Shure E4C, and those threads are still growing. They should give you a good idea about what members are thinking about their newly acquired E4Cs.
