I have my X5L loaded fully with FLAC files with EQ, BBE, M3BASS settings ON. I wanted to see how long its battery can play, so I left the player playing files with volume level set to 16. So far, it is playing nice for about 10 hours and the battery indicator showing half. I hope I will get at least another 5 hours or so.

Is 15 hours playback is decent enough to expect from X5L?
Are there anyone getting better battery life (~25 or 30 hrs) with X5L with FLAC?

I don't know how many hours it lasts, but I go for about a week with normal usage and no charging. Most of my music is FLAC, and I don't use any enhancements. I always have to laugh at my friend who has an iPod and brings his AC adapter to school every day.

I am getting about 30 or so hours from my X5L( haven't really timed it ). I have mostly FLAC recordings. I know it last a lot longer than an ipod.

With official Cowon firmware and mild effects I used to coax out about 20 hours (I'm probably understating this figure as I never fully ran it out). With Rockbox and no effects I get in excess of 24 hours.
