Possibly 'over-run'. The production lines sometimes stay open after the official products are made...

i almost ended up buying them one fine day....but then i read 'studio monitor' on them..and then i knew something was fishy.

i read reviews and realized i am not gonna like them like other Sony consumer level models.


budget stuff doesnt cut it for me anymore...thanks to head-fi poisoning!


arent they and EX90 nearly the same?

They share the same basic design but with some subtle difference. The EX90's casing is made of metal, unlike the plastic body the EX85/082 uses. Not sure about the driver though.

The word CHINA is supposed to be printed on the plug.

They look real, but if there is one give away that seems to indicate that this is a fake is the lack of two pin hole vents on the back.
