Since you can't really apply EQ to straight DSD data, you would have to, in realtime, convert DSD to PCM, apply EQ and then send the new PCM data to the DAC or even convert it back to DSD. Seems like a lot of CPU work for something so trivial. Does anyone know how it works in the real world? I don't have a DSD DAP yet but I have a feeling the EQ function isn't available for DSD or it just converts it to PCM in realtime to apply digital EQ.
