My ears are most comfortable when using airplay from my iPhone. When I use it from my Mac it is more detailed but very harsh. I know Airplay converts the raw sound file into a streaming format which it sends to a receiver using something called Homekit? But Im not entirely clear on how this works....can someone enlighten me?

will my speakers sound better if I add a mojo / poly to the mix? can anyone recommend airplay compatible dacs?
