How do you see what generation your iPod is?

[size=medium] model: MA003LL[/size]
[size=medium] S/N: JQ549JTFSZA[/size]
[size=medium] Capacity: 55.7GB[/size]
[size=medium]  [/size]
[size=medium] The HD has some bad parts, some songs are broken/sound bad.[/size]
[size=medium] Is it worth it to send this for repair?[/size]

60gb ipod.. if it doesnt have any other files in it, i'd assume that it is an ipod photo/color (4th gen) or ipod video (5th gen)
