I recently discovered someone describing Omega IIs and he pointed out that he used the thickest part of the pads rotated so they were below the ear. I've always had mine with the thickest point behind the ear.. Just thought i'd try to get a consensus on which is the right way to wear them..

hybrid position for me.

Assume that your right ear is a clock - imagine looking at your ear from the right side of your head

The thickest part of the pad is at the 8 position and the "seam" that runs almost diagonally opposite the thick part (and on the thin part) is at the 2 position.

Same here. The thickest part is just a bit lower than the 9 o'clock position. I really don't think there is a right or wrong way to position the pads. They have a great degree of adjustment so that they fit just about anybody's head shape.

I have found that I get better sound with the thick part of the pads as near to the back of my ear as possible. This seems to raise the cup a little bit further away from my ear and the bass seems deeper.

gsferrari: Any news on your bass enhancing mod?
