How do you clean velour pads?

If it's just lint or dust I want to get off the pads, I just use strips of scotch tape and dab at the dust.

Seriously? I use that stuff to clean keyboards, but I certainly woldn't want it on my headphones...

For cleaning the pads: Washing machine set to 30°C, add some cloth softener - works perfectly. Just don't forget to remove your headphone from the earpads...

don't press too hard though... you don't wanna damage the speaker driver inside

You really should remove the ear pads to clean them.

I would avoid the washing machine, too afraid that it'll ruin it.  Personally washing them in a skin with a bit of detergent will do the job well, and you use less water that way.
