As I look at some of your equipment inventories I'm really amazed so may people have such outstanding collections. How in the hell do you guys pay for it?? Does everyone make $100k/year??

Well, a fair question. I'll be the first here I guess. Primarily, I work a second job as an adjunct instructor at a local college about one two classes a year only. I sell stuff I'm not using (GPS, CDs, etc.) and steal a little out of the family fund from time to time. Just buy, sell, trade...buy, sell, trade. Each time kicking a little more in each time.

OK...ok...I do have nice gear, no doubt. But it just seems like I have to scrimp, save, beg, steal etc. And I only have this one modest system. It really isn't all that.

I work for my money. Hard. But I did cash out a life insurance policy a few weeks back that paid for my RS-1 & will pay for an MPX3 SLAM + a new car of some sort. Thanks Grandpa

I can't imagine the commission from selling Ramen being very much... but i guess if you sell lots of it as you say then you could make a good bit.
