I'm familiar with how dynamic driver units work, but what are armature drivers and how do they work exactly?

I was reading a description the other day that said the UE's essentially worked by the vibrations of a small pin bumping against something else I can't remember. Could anyone elaborate on this? I didn't find any useful information on UE's site.

China is, after all, the largest headphone (and headphone parts) producing country since last decade. Foster Japan, which is still the largest headphone OEM, has most of their 'phones made in their China factory before shipping them back to Japan to assemble and receive the 'made in Japan' seal since 80s.

In total, I believe at least half of the headphones in market are made in China (or at least partially). That includes all the iBud, most of the Senn, Sony, Panasonic, JVC, Audio Technica and AKG's buds/IEM... The list goes on (and I think you get the picture).
