The LCD2 is part of our warmer, more musical, smoother sound. It's more intimate and forward sounding.
The LCD-X is a more neutral, linear, more spacious sound. It's one of our top picks for mixers, producers, etc.
As it looks like you already have a 2C, you'll get an improvement on that type of sound with the 2, or you can contrast it with a slightly more neutral sound on the X.
