how do newer opamp amps compare with orig headroom supreme?

I've got the very original Headroom Supreme amp, probably dates back to the mid 90s.. its been doing an excellent job powering my HD580, but I VERY curious as to how it would compare to the relatively inexpensive opamp based amps out there.. like the Headsave.

Any thoughts?
