I found this helpful since i just got my first IEM....listening with both ears i couldnt really tell, so i isolate first my right ear with a medium tip, sounds almost the same as a small tip...but the medium was louder...on my left ear however, the medium tips leaks (perhaps too big for me)...the smaller tips works well and can hear the 50hz range..
in other words, i found out my right ear canal opening is actually smaller than my left, and no i have achieved a "semi-perfect" fit given that this is not a custom IEM anyway....
still this test does help even if it isn't a custom IEM...
