This question seems to be danced around for awhile and I can't figure it out. What set drivers is best? The newest version 500a is complicated under the digital out tab, do I want "AC3" or "PCM" or "AC3 or PCM Auto Select"? What sample rate do I select on the right?

Now to foobar. For bit perfect I want no DSP meaning no resampling? For output format I want 24-bit padded to 32-bit?

1- You want 2-channel, PCM, sapling rate to auto
2- No resampling
3- The output depends. You can use just 16 bit (the original CD sampling rate). But if you use ASIO as output, it won't work unless you use 32 bit output.
