Hey all!
I'm just wondering how I can end an ebay auction early and sell it to someone other than the high bidder.
I'm ebay-illiterate

Go to my ebay,

Click on selling on the left hand side, next to 'time left' click on the drop down menu that currently says "sell similar" and there should be an option to end auction

Just wondering why you want to end it early ? It really pis*** me off when this happens to me, but I have never found a valid reason why.

I always thought the spirit of e-bay was that one you started an auction you saw it through.

^ Because he offered me a price I knew I probably wouldn't have gotten if I would have let it run through...and he couldn't be around to bid when the auction ended.

I don't care if that makes you mad, that's your problem.

A little mean, but I feel actually the same way. People sell things specifically on Ebay in order to gain maximum profit. If a good offer comes along, it's in your best interest to take it, and screw Ebay with their cut.
