I bought the Little Dot II+ amp last summer, which I enjoy but recently, the left tube is popping with a flash when I turn it on. Sound quality is not affected, only pops once as I turn it on and I think I may have a defective tube perhaps that needs to be replaced.

I tried to google David and the Little Dot company but seem to have trouble finding his e-mail address.

Anyone know his e-mail address?

David's a nice guy and fast with his responses. I ordered a LDM+ with him and he adviced me what version to take. I wish all shops were like that.

There are different versions of the amp? hrm.. I wasnt given any choice other than the color

There is choice between a high gain or low gain version. I chose the low gain because of my Super.fi EB's. The high gain have a higher level of hiss.
