I just want to know what the title says, but one thing, i mean  just the transport, no dac, no amp.

Maybe when compared to another CD player where the transport is not as dependable and more error correction has to be used?  I don't know, really - seems like it would make no difference whatsoever.  If it plays and decodes the bits, it is what it is, period - but maybe there's something I'm not considering.
