with me it all started in the portable region mainly. the first mp3 player i had was a sansa express, and i just wanted to get "high end" sound from a portable on the go, so I upgraded to a cowon I7. man..how this upgrade changed my life.
than came the want to upgrade to a better headphone...i started with shure IEM's and than I thought...why not listening to heavenly music at home?
so i got a HD595 and kept upgrading from there (see sig).
anyway..i actually found headroom before head-fi.
