Why is that authorised dealers such as headroom won't ship Grados to the UK or anywhere but the US?

It's so annoying since Grado's cost so much in the UK (£700 for RS1i) If there is a UK dealer, which is the cheapest out of all of them, and would it be wise to buy in the FS forum if looking for Grados.

Most likely the headphones get a **** ton of import tax when imported to Europe. Then, in order to protect their dealer in Europe, they dont allow their American dealers to ship worldwide, which would be free of all those taxes.

It's so Grado can control the market and keep the prices high. Personally I'd buy them second hand, bought RS-1's for the price of retail price 325i's.

.coco if the British exchange rate is excellent, you can buy products much cheaper, even after all charges.

In short; Because Grado don't allow them to do so!

Tried to search for something, must have failed badly. But thanks for the link, never knew Grado was a small company.
