I'm using the HD-600 and Neumann NDH-30 headphones, but every time I move my head even slightly, I hear a bothersome squeaking noise caused by the friction of the ear pads. It doesn't bother me when I don't notice it, but once I start paying attention, it becomes very annoying.

Is it possible to completely eliminate this noise? Or is it better to pretend not to hear it as long as I continue using the headphones?

On the Sennheiser, I've heard the plastic squeak when rubbing against the metal band. But never the pad personally.

Really? Please try to push the sides, you should hear squeaking noise. This noise is audible when moving your head.
