Yes, I searched the previous thread about this, but there was no definitive answer. I purchased some black PX-100 from JR's on 03/09/06, and they have arrived at home today. When I get home, how can I tell if they are the updated version or the old version?

This bothers me too. I want to now if my PX100 is newer one. Bought them about two months ago.

AFAIK, there is no way to tell from the headphones themselves. Chances are, a headphone purchased now will be new stock, especially at a high volume retailer like J&R.
