Hey All,
So I recently bought a Music Hall MMf 2.1, and like an idiot, dropped the tone arm onto the plinth, now the left channel is distorted. I've ordered a new stylus through LP gear, but am worried that it could be the cantilever that is damaged, how can I tell, and will replacing the stylus fix it? Any help?

The cantilever will be replaced also, so you have nothing to worry about.

A damaged cantilever would probably show distortion in both channels as it would misalign the stylus in the grove.

One channel distortions are usually culprits for a bad cartridge, a bad cartridge wire, a bad tube or a bad cable. Move things around and see what you can do.
