The DJ1 Pro pads are a bit uncomfortable for me but the PRO900 pads are the same size and just snap on. Both are fine for games although some may find them too heavy.
Great details and great sound stage, Ultrasones use the S-logic patent with the soundstage. Try to get a used pro-900, is a bit more comfy compare to the other models.
Soundstage is good, it's not that big compared to a K701/Q701/K712 but it works well with Dolby Headphone and SBX. A Fidelio X1 is better than a Pro 900 though, even though the kickbass on the Pro 900/Pro 2900 is exciting. The Pro 900 has piercing highs that you need to be wary of at louder volumes.
I own the 900pro. Its à great headphone. However, for gaming (Fps mostly but other games as well) I prefer audio technica ad700 hands down: lighter on the head, better soundstage for games and less bass.
