Can anyone give me a quick breakdown on Hippo earphones? From my basic research, they seem like an asian equivalent of Skull Candy buds. What's the word on the street? 
 
Note: Just did an impulse buy of some Hippo 10's off of the for sale section. For 20 bucks, I'm guessing that I can't go wrong.

They are in no way similar to the crappy sound quality and loud design of Skull Candy. There are reviews on most of the Hippo earphones and generally they do provide good C/P.

The reviews do make them out to be decent for what they are. 
 
My real question is, how can Jaben sell them so cheaply? The 10's that I'm getting were basically a freebie in a 2 for 1 cable deal. How can they afford that and make a quality phone?

Still, you could probably sell the hippo's for $20 pretty easily
