I recently saw these headphones and I want to ask for opinions on which is better. Taking into account that they are focused more on bass, I want to purchase a pair of 'phones that have more bass as well.

For their prices both are almost even, the sony xb600 recently dropped their price from $99 to $69 which puts it in the same price range of the HOM Soul Rebel.

I'd like to seek advice on which would be better in terms of sound quality.

Any thoughts?

None of them IMO.  
Take this one in consideration, its a hm5/ fischer audio FA003 clone really cheap with good sound

It will cost you with shipping 70$ and the best deal so far
 
But if I had to choose I will go for the sony. The soul rebel is a trendy headphone.
