Progressive:
16 Bit Lolita's (the first part of their warung Brazil CD is amazing) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DebOJ9dPxLs
Deadmau5 (mostly crap imho, but random album title is nice) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK1mLIeXwsQ&ob=av2e
Eelke Kleijn http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lscOGfaZar8
Gui Boratto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOorXqaut1k
Jay Lumen (his latest productions are almost techhouse though, a great producer) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oph5Iy_UYtg
Pryda (All good Eric Prydz productions are released under pryda, 98% of the Eric Prydz songs are mainstream crap) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qy_RmRXcXXo
Sasha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jAUoLCtV7I
Oliver Koletzki http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCbSL7nYFGY

Techhouse:
Fritz Kalkbrenner http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsg9Rlqj6GI&feature=related
2000 and One http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUebT-SkxkE
Paul Ritch (though some of his tracks are techno) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92bbtRAmthA

You could also use labels to search your way through house, check beatport for labels such as anjunadeep. Looking forward to recommendations concerning deephouse, I like deeptechno so I'll keep checking this thread.

No problem,

A little bit of everything to see what flavor you like:

an essential:

lounge-y:

up-beat:

deep:

mix version which turned into a nice fusion:

It's unfortunate that 80% of the songs I searched for couldn't be found on YouTube and the one's I did find had terrible quality. It really doesn't do them justice. Ah well...

If you like any, check out the entire Naked Music camp. Still haven't found one song that is genuinely bad.

Too bad they disintegrated.

No, Anjunabeats is the label of Above & Beyond which mostly features trance. Anjunadeep releases progressive, it's a bit less emotive and in my opinion a much better label. Anjunadeep is somewhat connected to anjunabeats because it is managed by Above & Beyond's manager. Anjunadeep 1&2 are compilation albums of songs that are released on anjunadeep mixed by an Anjunadeep artist and they are nice indeed!

I've actually heard a lot of those but that Blame track is massssivee. I like the Dizzee Rascal one too (amazing!), he seems to be really popular in "techno" (hate that term) or is it me?

I checked out almost everything on this page, I'm not too big on the minimalist stuff. I like stuff that keeps my interest, but that could just be my mood, which changes from hour to hour, day to day.

I hate that word too. It is because everyone says oh you're listening to TECHNO when it is house. Technically it is but there are so many sub genres and people don't know or understand that. It is almost like when you tell people you are doing to get high class headphones and they say "oh BOSE!". Like it is the only top quality headphone.

Aaren San - Apes From Space (Dirtyloud Remix)

Haha or you tell your friend that you bought M50s for $100 and he looks at you like it's a complete waste of money, believing you bought top of the line, best possible headphones....yeah no lol.

Call it nostalgia, I still dig it... (The balance between the lows and higs is very nice, no deafening and thumping bass but a nice bass line with beats.)
