The Silver Dragon IEM headphone cable is the baby brother to the Silver Dragon Headphone cable. We have designed if for use with In Ear monitors were light weight and flexibility are a must. Examples of the in ears this cable can be used with are: the JH Audio Custom molded JH16 & JH13 in ear monitors, LiveWires Custom molded in ear monitors, Shure SE535 and SE425, Ultimate Ears UE18 Pro and UE11 Pro and Westone Elite Series ES3X just to name a few.
The Silver Dragon IEM is a coaxial design using a 99.99998% UP-OCC Stranded Silver 26AWG center conductor for the positive leg. The center conductor uses the same Kevlar reinforcing as the other Dragon cables. The center conductor is wrapped concentrically by a 99.99998% UP-OCC silver plated single crystallized UP-OCC pure copper stranded 26AWG  gauge conductor with 7N purity 99.99998%. Now that is a mouth full:)
the left and right signal cables run parallel to each other resulting in a very low inductance. Both signal jackets are polyethylene. The cable is extremely flexible yet very resiliant and resistant to flex failure.
A variety of connection options are available for your downstream connection. Such as the mini plug, RCA, XLR and a whole host of others. We custom build these in house to your connection specification.
The cable can be used in either a single ended or balanced design. The wire is soldered to a connectors using high quality Cardas silver solder.

Great news and very reasonable price.
Is there a photo of the cable with the Premolded right angled Mini Plug?

Also, will any Blue Dragon IEM cables be available?

Hi Drew, please put me on the pre-order list for the 80" with Oyaide plug. Thanks! :)

BTW, are the Moon Audio 1/8" to 1/4" adapters different from "off the shelf" adapters? I'm usually wary of using such adapters as it doesn't make sense to me to put a cheap adapter in the path of high quality cables, but sometimes there is a practical need to and I've been looking for a practical solution ....

I'll try to get a picture up of the Premolded plug soon. I am a bit overwhelmed with holiday rush orders. So not a lot of free time. The plug is identicle to the JH Audio molded plug if that helps. Yes in about 6 months there will be a Blue Dragon. We will also be making molds for other phones like Shure and such.

Mine are good quality but still not as good as say the Oyaide or Furutech plugs. No one makes a good one. Cardas had one but mechanically it kept failing. Someday we may have a good solution. What I do for folks is make an adapter system with Mini XLRs as seen Here. Then they can get adapter cables with better plugs for all of their connection needs.

I would love to see a set of these made up for the Sennheiser IE8... but I do realize that's a totally different plug at the IEM body... Making these cables for phones with common plugs is more beneficial I'm sure.

Revised the connector options. Forgot the iBasso. We can also do our adapter system system with mini 4pin XLRs.

interested! emailed a couple questions.  one that a few others may wonder is about the ibasso hirose connector. how much extra (if you have access to them) would that be?

How much would an adapter system like that cost?
