Just thinking about RSA amps, I'd like to hear one with my K701s at some point. I've read a fair bit about both the Hornet M and SR71, and I think that I'd slightly prefer the sound of the Hornet - slightly warmer and punchier in bass, but wondering whether the SR71 - with twice the batteries - will drive the K701s better. I can live without conveniences of the Hornet (size, in-amp charging) as long as the SR71 will take Ni-Mhs okay. Anyone with any input?
[edit] also, would the SR71 hi-gain version be better?
