I think that is actually the same battery that Ray shipped with my Hornet when I bought it, so I would say that it should work.

This is a battery but does not last as long as the above one.

Hornet = 9volt -> Battery = 9volt -> Seems like a match to me.

Ditto. However, for your information, the MAHA Powerex is one of the best 9V rechargeables out there.

Yes the battery that the OP posted a link to will work in the Hornet. But why pay $4.00 more to get 230MA when you can get the Tysonic at 250 MA as indicated by JC9394, for $8.00.
