Hi guys. Any thoughts on Sonion 26A005/8 ?
What would be the best to pair with it?did any one tried it?
It is a single version of 28uap01 afaik. Good for low mid (200-4k). Im planning on using the 26-7/9 with dd as woofer and e50 up top.

I think hype 4 uses that same driver configuration .

Hi,
Making a vent on the shell to release the 38dx1 vents will not give you faster or more impactful bass.
This remains anecdotal enough to have made attempts

Everything plays in configuration, filter driver and tubing

Ah. So i need to play with the loudness, tubing and damper? Dang that means rebuild the things. 🤣 Okay thanks for your input.

I’m trying to get a nice glass clear finish on these 3d printed hollow shells. I thought that the lack3 was the way to go after sanding inside and outside. Is there another way? I’m still learning fusion at the moment, and I guess once I go that route more of the internals would be filled up, but till I’ve got that figured out, I’ve still got these hollow shells to work with.
Apologies for late chime in, but I always Lac3 the inside of my shells. I think it gives a much better depth and external shell appearance especially in clear IEM's. It also fixes scratches and drill marks caused by prepping the canal with a dremel.

But it is also a story of association, a 38dx1 may sound different depending on which driver it is coupled in the crossover
Yeah. First prototype bass was great and punchy and i like it. But the there's something wrong in the tonal balance. So we rebuild it. Now tonally it's great but i still crave for punchier bass. 🤣

Hi guys, i took a measurement of my recent iem that i made, and i noticed that left iem shows -2 db from right iem at the bass freq. is this critical?
Same story with high frequency. What did i wrong ? Maybe it’s a tube length that is not matching with other iem?

could be the xo component variance. did you measured each driver one by one and making sure both matched?
if it's ciem could also be difference in the shape and volume of nozzle

I did measure, and it did show the same results .but i remember that when installed the drivers i might cut tube of the bass (ci) driver lil shorter than other one . Im not sure, but most likely i did . Or you right ,its just ear canal shape.
