I did not try. But likely with GRADO the hybrid amplifier of this series will be better to work.

Amplifiers company LACONIC makes. Dealer LACONIC in the USA is EddieCurrent.
Amplifiers of this series are issued in three variants:
- amplifiers on lamps in the open case
- amplifiers on lamps in the closed case
- the hybrid amplifier in the open case

The Original Master amp goes for $198 plus shipping. It got some very good reviews at the national meet, and a short review of it was written in this forum about a week ago...do a search and read it yourself. Otherwise, there isn't much on offer at the $200 price point, IMO.
