Is the general consensus that i2s and usb are on par with one another on a KTE model? Any Insight appreciated! I'll do my own tests with my Concentus i2s and Lavricables USB soon - and I'll be sure to search around when I have some more time on my hands to catch up though... Curious though. Thanks

Using Red as streamer, with Tubulus Concentus i2s and Hapa Aero Ag USB, with PLL on for i2s on May KTE, I can’t tell the difference in blind tests.

I agree. However, I now spend 50% of the time like this, 50% Freya+ in between. Direct May->Bliss for the top technical performace and clean sound, Freya+ for extra excitement and adventures. They are like sweet and salty: they boost each other when you switch back and forth.

Do you plan on using NAA? Otherwise it's extremely simple, just tell HQplayer to output to HoloAudio ASIO driver.:

In Roon you press Setup => add Hqplayer and select localhost:

If you do these two things and select HQPlayer as an output zone in Roon it should all work out

Ask around on goldensound discord, there are plenty of people using HQPlayer with May there. I couldnt find anything that sounded to me better than Mays NOS though

That means you're using the Windows Audio protocol to send data to your May, if you have the Holo USB drivers installed you should have the Holo Audio control panel running on your pc:

I would recommend installing these drivers and setting your backend to ASIO.
