You'll get MUCH better response if you post this in the portable source gear section.

I will say that these things that I have read on here multiple times...
Wolfson DAC in algorhythm solo is way better than the DAC on any ipod acording to most.
"Imods" are loved by many, but many have sold theirs and gone to algorhythm solo and consider it an upgrade.
Hm-801 is controversial it would seem. Some people say its the greatest DAP ever, and some say its overpriced garbage and not much better than an ipod with rolled off treble...
