Your PC is a young 'un. My PC can trace it's mutation sequence through many upgrades back to an Intel 200 MMX in the mid 1990s :D

Still going strong, I got the pc back in 2011 but didn't have a photo of it from then :frowning2:
The PC itself has had a couple upgrades, mainly case mods and fans.

I don't even remember what all I've done to it since then. But every upgrade was always a partial, with at least a couple components left from the previous upgrade. For instance, last upgrade I kept the DVD burner and video card. So it does feel like a mutated beast! :)

I built mine primarily for gaming, I never used to be into audio, To be honest I always got the lowest quality music 128kbs so I could fit more on my ipod. But ever since I got my panasonic sound system I found out what music sounds like with a good quality system.
Last month my Gaming headset broke after about 3 months, so I decided I was going to get a good quality set of headphones and for the I needed an amp.... And then the audiophile came out :p
A month later I find myself with 320kb/s song library and Sounds that are pleasing to me, Through my m50x's and shure 215s :)

I went through several sound cards over the years--including a couple of the earlier Soundblasters back when people complained heavily about Creative drivers (with good reason). Then an M-Audio Revolution sound card which was the first decent card in terms of sound quality. And finally to the Asus Xonars. Now I'm an external DAC man :)

I removed a 3.5" floppy drive from my last rebuild with a heavy heart, that single component could be traced back to my first self built PC with an AMD 486 DX2 80mhz. It may have had four different cases and more motherboards and processors than i care to remember over the years, but with that floppy drive it was still the same computer to me
