im fairly new to the hi fi scene
but i recently purchased the senn 600s and i love them
still breaking them in but they sound nice
i just purchased the obh-21se from audio advisor
any thoughts on that
oh ya and im running all of this out of my computer which has an audigy
now i know that the audigy is a bad source
but is there any way i can get rid of the hiss without chaning sound cards
and if none any recomendations?

try a maudio sonica. it's USB, and CHEAP!.... and since it's outside the computer case, it partially avoids the noisy environment inside the computer... only partially cause it still draws power from the USB port i believe. it might have a wallwart... i'm not completely sure.

but i think it's the best deal out there for good sound.

since it's USB, it shouldn't have any conflicts with your soundblaster. i think you'd like it.

before you look at buying a new card, have you tried the rear-out of the audigy? if i remember correctly, it uses higher-quality components for the rear-out, which may eliminate the hiss.

also try muting all sources in the mixer except for "wave/mp3" (the analog cd-in is usually really noisy...)

hope that helps anyway
