Hi everyone, I'm sure many have run into this problem before, but many of my FLAC files are either needle drops or old classic recordings and contain a fair amount of tape / other hiss. I use FooBar on windows and have been unable to find a hiss reduction dsp / plugin. I could imagine using Audacity or something similar which would probably have some filters for that, but I would be worried about degrading SQ and having to keep copies of the original and the modified. I'd prefer a just-in-time noise reduction. Does anyone have a good solution for this, or at least one worth trying? Thanks!!
