So this is basically a request for suggestions on a portable amp/dac combo that will give me a bit more juice through my Beyers. Im currently using a Fiio Q5, which i think is fantastic, and a real steal for the money. But i can't help but feel that the 1770's would benefit from a bit more oomph. They are converted to a balanced input from the wizards at Custom Cans, and i love them unconditionally. So the device needs to output a balanced source. Headphone jack size doesn't matter, as i can always get another cable made up.

Yeah, im considering it. I am an unashamed fan of a bass boost, so i may be inclined to agree with Zeos's opinions there. But it is tempting. Also interested in the Ifi Idsd Signature, but it may be stretching portability though. Definitely powerful enough at 4100mw @32ohm..
